What We Provide
This website and its phone line let you send a description of roofing work to an independent roofing firm. Roofing Peterborough does not carry out roofing work, does not employ roofers and does not act as agent for any firm. By using the site you accept these terms.
What It Costs You
Sending an enquiry and receiving a quote cost you nothing. A roofing firm may pay us for introducing you. The price you are quoted is set by that firm, and any payment for work is made to the firm.
We Do Not Inspect or Approve Firms
We do not inspect, audit or approve any roofing firm, and passing your enquiry to a firm is not a recommendation of it. Make your own checks before agreeing to any work; our guide to choosing a roofer describes them.
The Contract for Work Is Between You and the Firm
If you agree to work, the contract is between you and the roofing firm, and we are not a party to it. Your statutory rights are rights against that firm. They include the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requirement that a service is carried out with reasonable care and skill, and any cancellation rights that apply under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
General Information and Guides
The guides and area pages are general information. Cost figures are researched estimates for the year stated, not quotes. The insurance guide is not advice about any policy, and the liability section of the guide to choosing a roofer is not legal advice. Planning and conservation details are summarised from published council material and may change, so confirm your own position with the council before work begins.
Limits on Our Liability
We do not exclude or limit any liability that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit. Within that, we are not responsible for work carried out or quoted by a roofing firm, for how soon a firm contacts you, or for loss arising from reliance on the general information on this site.
Using the Site Properly
Please do not send false or malicious enquiries, try to collect other people's details, or interfere with how the site works.
Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
